What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device, and "local storage" is a similar way of keeping small amounts of data in your browser. We use a minimal amount of both — only what the app needs to work — and nothing that follows you around the internet.
Cookies and storage we use
- Sign-in session — when you sign in, we store a session token in a cookie and local storage so you stay signed in as you move around the app and return later. Without this, the signed-in app cannot work. This is strictly necessary.
- Your preferences — small details such as which day you were last viewing, kept in local storage so the app continues where you left off.
What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or any cookies that build a profile of you across other websites. We also do not run analytics advertising networks on the site.
Third-party services
When you reach the payment step, our payment partner Paddle handles the checkout on its own pages and may set its own cookies there to process the payment securely, prevent fraud, and comply with tax rules. Paddle's handling of your data is described in Paddle's own privacy notice, and in our Privacy Notice.
If you sign in with Google, Google handles that sign-in on its own pages and may use its own cookies there.
How to control cookies
Our cookie pop-up lets you accept or decline. We remember your choice in local storage. We currently use only essential storage, so either choice leaves sign-in and essential app functions available. Neither option enables advertising or optional tracking.
Every browser lets you view, delete and block cookies in its settings. You can clear cookies and site data for this site at any time. The only consequence is that you will be signed out and will need to sign in again — everything else in the app keeps working.
If you delete your account, we delete the account data on our servers; anything left in your browser's local storage is removed the next time you visit the site while signed out.
Questions
This policy is part of our Privacy Notice. If you have a question about cookies or anything else, use the contact page and we'll get back to you.
